Cyborg is mysteriously thrown into the distant past and lands in the
middle of a barbarian village that needs his help. But with the nearest
charging station 5,000 years in the future, Cy has no way to recharge,
and his power supply is dwindling.

Review
I’m going to be blunt. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an episode of Teen
Titans that was this bad. Hell, I’ve watched every episode of all the DCU
shows and I’m struggling to find one that was this plain dull. This wasn’t
Critters bad. This was bloody worse.
Teen Titans works best as a team show. Every time they separate and act on
their lonesome, it leads to a crappy episode. There are exceptions, but
those are what I like to call “Robin episodes”. Cyborg as a character simply
isn’t entertaining enough to hold the fort for 22 minutes on his lonesome.
Cyborg, whilst amusing, is simply dull when episodes are focused on him.
He’s a great team player or a sidekick, but as a star, he’s absolutely
terrible. Nearly all Cyborg episodes are crap, I’m sad to say.
The Stone Age characters weren’t interesting. The villain was absolutely
pathetic, quite easily The Titans worst villain. I usually enjoy this show,
and find something enjoyable in it somewhere, even if I am watching mediocre
episodes, but this… I simply couldn’t wait for it to end. It started off
entertaining enough, with Beast Boy drooling over his new Gamestation and
Cyborg’s excitement over all his new toys but as soon as he went into the
past it just became such a tedious affair.
What’s even stranger, how did the witch manage to transport Cyborg into the
past? Why him? How did Raven manage to pull him back? If there was an
explanation, I’d have been happier, even if it was a damn stupid one. I’m
not sure what purpose the episode served; the fight scenes weren’t up to par
with previous episodes, there was little humor and it didn’t really develop
Cyborg.
And season 4 was starting to look so much better than season 3…
